Learn how to create a stunning floral pop-up card in this new Art du Jour class: Watercolor Pop-Up Bouquet with mixed media artist, Lucie Duclos. This class is a little longer than the previous ones in the series but you can still get this project done under 30 minutes if you use a ready made envelope and you don’t make the pull out tag and write your message right on the card! But you also have many options for add-ons with lots of bonus material!

In this class you will learn how to create a simple watercolour pop-up bouquet using resist and mixed media techniques. We will add on simple foliage in the background with collage and floral wire. We will create a matching envelope and a little pullout tag to write your wish or message and add a personal touch by adding sweet little characters and objects to your floral scene. The result is a stunning bouquet of everlasting flowers that will never wither!

You also can use all the steps and instruction in this class to create a simple bouquet on a piece of watercolor paper and create a framable piece of art or card, you don’t have to make a pop-up, but it’s so much fun to add dimension to your paintings and collages.
